CLODO

Planet-scale people sourcing

Visit CLODO

Clodo is a natural-language people-search platform for recruiters, expert networks, and sales teams: describe a target persona in plain language and it searches, enriches, and helps source outreach to matching people, also offered as a developer-facing "Agentic People Search API."

What is CLODO

Vendor's own claim

Clodo is a people-sourcing product built around a four-step workflow (Search, Understand, Enrich, Source): a user describes a target persona in natural language, Clodo surfaces matching people along with behavioral/firmographic signals, enriches their contact data, and helps draft and send outreach. The same capability is exposed as a developer API (the "Agentic People Search API") for search, enrichment, and (per the vendor) AI-drafted outreach sent from a connected inbox.

Who should look elsewhere

Our read

The API docs also state that a hosted MCP server and OpenAPI spec are only "on the near-term roadmap," so teams specifically wanting a documented MCP server or machine-readable API spec right now cannot get one from Clodo yet - the current integration path is an ask-us-for-it Claude/Cursor skill file rather than public documentation.

No curated rival set covers this tool yet, so these are simply other tools in the same architectural layer and product form. Treat it as a starting point, not a shortlist.

CLODO FAQ

What does the Clodo API do?

Per Clodo's own API FAQ, it supports natural-language people search, contact enrichment (email and phone), full profile enrichment, and AI-drafted outreach - one-off emails and multi-step sequences sent from your own connected inbox.

Vendor's own claim
Does Clodo have an MCP server?

Not yet, per Clodo's own docs: "A hosted MCP server and OpenAPI spec are on the near-term roadmap." Today the API is agent-ready via a drop-in skill for Claude and Cursor covering search, enrichment, and outreach, available on request.

From official docs
Is there a public OpenAPI spec for the Clodo API?

Not currently, per Clodo's own docs, which describe an OpenAPI spec as being on the near-term roadmap rather than available today.

From official docs
What is Clodo's relationship to "Clado"?

Clodo's own API page states it is now handling people-search requests and services for Clado users, because the Clado team is shutting down their people-search platform and API. Clado and Clodo are separate products with near-identical names; this is a note about Clado's shutdown, not Clodo's.

From official docs
Where does Clodo's people data come from?

Per the vendor, the API pulls from a wide range of public and licensed sources, fuses them at query time, and de-duplicates before returning results.
