Affinity

The AI-first private capital CRM.

Visit Affinity

Affinity is a CRM built specifically for private capital firms (PE, VC, private credit, family offices): it automatically captures email/meeting/note activity, enriches records from 40+ data sources, scores relationship strength from real interaction history, and layers an agent platform ("Affinity Ascend") on top to prep meetings and update pipeline data.

What is Affinity

Vendor's own claim

Affinity is a relationship-intelligence CRM purpose-built for private capital dealmaking rather than general sales. Its data model is organized around funds, deals, and LP relationships instead of generic sales pipelines, and its API/MCP/data-share layer is built to expose that relationship graph to a firm's own tools and AI assistants rather than keeping it locked inside a single interface.

Ideal customer profile

Vendor's own claim

Mid- to upper-market private capital firms with $2B+ in AUM, complex deal teams (30+ employees, 5+ on deal execution), spanning private equity, venture capital, private credit, multi-asset strategy, corporate venture capital, and family offices - from Managing Director/Partner to Principal, plus operations/platform and value-creation teams.

Who should look elsewhere

Our read

Affinity's own llms.txt states its target customer is mid- to upper-market firms with $2B+ AUM and 30+ employees with a 5+ person deal execution team - small funds, solo GPs, or firms below that scale are explicitly outside its stated ICP. The API is also gated: the developer docs state "Affinity APIs are only available on select license types," and no pricing page was retrieved at all (Affinity does not appear to publish self-serve pricing - access runs through a requested demo), so buyers wanting to compare costs or self-serve signup, or confirm they're even licensed for the API/MCP, cannot do so without contacting sales.

No curated rival set covers this tool yet, so these are simply other tools in the same architectural layer and product form. Treat it as a starting point, not a shortlist.

Affinity FAQ

Does Affinity have an API?

Yes, two: a legacy v1 REST API (documented at api-docs.affinity.co) and a newer v2 API described by a published OpenAPI 3.1.1 spec at developer.affinity.co/api-reference/openapi.json. The docs state v2 is not yet at full feature parity with v1.

From official docs
Is the API available on every plan?

No - the developer docs state "The Affinity APIs are only available on select license types," directing prospects to a Help Center article or their Customer Success Manager for details.

From official docs
Does Affinity have an MCP server?

Yes, a hosted MCP server that connects Affinity's relationship data to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot, with no local setup required; the same in-product permissions that govern CRM visibility apply to what AI tools can access.

Vendor's own claim
How is Affinity priced?

We could not find a public pricing page in the harvested pages - Affinity routes prospects to a demo request rather than publishing self-serve pricing.

Our read
Can Affinity data be queried in a data warehouse?

Yes - the vendor states Affinity delivers relationship and deal data directly to data shares such as Snowflake, without scheduled exports, so a data team can query it alongside other analytics data.

Vendor's own claim
What authentication does the API use?

An API key generated in Affinity's Settings (requires the "Generate an API key" permission), passed as a bearer authentication token; API keys can be restricted with an IP allowlist for additional security.

From official docs
Who is Affinity built for?

The vendor's own llms.txt states its target is mid- to upper-market private capital firms with $2B+ in AUM, 30+ employees, and at least 5 people on the deal execution team, spanning PE, VC, private credit, multi-asset strategy, corporate VC, and family offices.

From official docs
What does Affinity integrate with natively?

The integrations page lists native connections including Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Box, Crunchbase, Dealroom, Dropbox, and Eventbrite, plus a broader third-party partner network (Airtable, Bardeen AI, Coda, DocuSign, and others) and custom/bespoke integrations for firms with proprietary data systems.
