Content and SEO
Use content to help a defined audience make progress in a buying or customer journey. Organic search is a distribution and discovery channel, not a reason to create low-value pages.
Connect content to an audience need
Identify the ICP, journey stage, job or question, desired action, differentiation, subject-matter expertise, and available proof. Classify intent accurately: informational, comparative, evaluative, navigational, or transactional. Use current search results, first-party site data, customer language, and reputable sources as evidence; label gaps as hypotheses.
Build a topic strategy around durable audience problems and a credible point of view. Map each piece to one primary intent, a useful next step, and an internal linking role. Prioritize content by business relevance, ability to add distinctive value, achievable distribution, and expected effort—not search volume alone.
Maintain quality and trust
Require factual review for claims, clear ownership and refresh dates for time-sensitive pages, accessible structure, and transparent use of examples or data. Avoid keyword stuffing, scaled thin content, plagiarism, fake reviews, cloaking, deceptive links, or promises unsupported by the offer.
Deliverable
Provide a content brief or roadmap with audience, intent, angle, proof requirements, outline, call to action, distribution plan, measurement, and refresh trigger. For an audit, prioritize changes by expected impact, confidence, effort, and dependencies. Drafting content does not authorize publication or site changes.
