Kuration

Your Data Edge, Built Not Rented

Visit Kuration

Kuration is a B2B data research platform that builds custom prospect and company lists from 200+ live sources traditional databases skip - event pages, PDFs, directories, Google Maps, and government registries - using an AI research agent called Alex, accessible via a self-serve platform, an HTTP API, and an MCP server.

What is Kuration

Vendor's own claim

Kuration positions itself against shared databases like ZoomInfo, Apollo, and Lusha by building proprietary, source-cited datasets from public and commercial sources most tools don't scrape (event sponsor/exhibitor pages, government registries, maps, directories).

Ideal customer profile

Vendor's own claim

GTM and outbound teams that need niche, hard-to-reach prospect lists (event attendees, regional registries, custom taxonomies) rather than the same shared contacts every competitor already has, and are comfortable with a credit-metered, per-action pricing model.

Who should look elsewhere

Our read

The Enterprise-grade API is gated: the api-docs excerpt states API access is only available on the Enterprise plan, which starts at $2,500/month - teams wanting programmatic access on Starter or Pro tiers do not get the REST Workflow API described in the developer docs (note: the MCP server is separately available and works differently from the Enterprise API). Pricing is credit-metered per action (verified emails cost 5 credits, mobile numbers cost 10, deep research runs cost 15+), so cost is hard to predict for teams with unclear volume, and the Free plan caps at 25 rows exported per list. The vendor's own comparison table shows Kuration lacking a listed advantage in some categories versus competitors like Clay and Bitscale on specific line items (though the table is vendor-authored, not independently verified).

Tools in the same layer

Our read

No curated rival set covers this tool yet, so these are simply other tools in the same architectural layer and product form. Treat it as a starting point, not a shortlist.

Kuration FAQ

Does Kuration have an MCP server?

Yes, a Streamable HTTP MCP server that connects to Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code/Continue, Zed, and other MCP clients, authenticated via browser sign-in for Claude or an API key header for other clients.

From official docs
Is there a free plan?

Yes, permanently free with 1,500 credits/month (about 300 verified emails or 200 enriched companies), capped at 25 rows exported per list, no credit card required.

From official docs
How does credit pricing work?

Most actions cost 1 credit; verified emails cost 5; mobile phone numbers cost 10; multi-step agent runs range from 5 (Kura Pro research) to 30+ (autonomous database cycles). Credits roll over up to 3x the monthly plan amount, and top-up packs can be purchased separately at the plan's per-credit rate.

From official docs
Has Kuration published a machine-readable OpenAPI spec?

We could not find one. The API docs page describes the endpoints in prose with code samples, but openapi.json, swagger.json, and .well-known/openapi.json all returned 404s during this check.

Our read
How does Kuration compare to Clay on pricing?

Kuration's own pricing page includes a vendor-authored comparison table claiming it runs 'roughly 3-4x cheaper than Clay at equivalent tier' ($0.0186/credit for Kuration Pro vs $0.074/data credit for Clay). This is the vendor's own framing, not something we independently verified.

Vendor's own claim
Where is Kuration based and who founded it?

Headquartered in Hong Kong with presence in New York and Abu Dhabi, founded in 2024; the CEO is named as Aurélien Vasinis in the vendor's own llms.txt file.
