Visit Journey.io

Journey replaces the post-call email full of attachments and links with a single branded page. You drag decks, PDFs, docs, videos and scheduling links into one ordered narrative, send one URL, and see who opened it, what they spent time on and how long. The vendor frames it as removing decision-making friction for busy stakeholders rather than as a content-management system.

What is Journey.io

Vendor's own claim

A digital sales room in the narrow, cheap sense of the term. The unit of work is a page rather than a deal room or a workflow: content blocks are unlimited on every tier, and the tiering is built around how many Journeys you can have, how much visitor analytics you see, and whether the vendor's branding is removed. There is no CRM object model here and no sequencing - Journey expects to sit alongside whichever tools already hold the content and the pipeline, and reaches them through embeds, plus Clay and Zapier at the top tier.

Ideal customer profile

Our read

Individual sellers, founders and small go-to-market teams who follow up calls with a pile of attachments and want one trackable link instead.

Who should look elsewhere

Our read

The Start tier caps you at two Journeys total and stamps "Made in Journey" branding on the page, so it is a trial in practice rather than a working plan - one live deal and you are out of room. Everything that makes this operationally useful to a team sits at Scale ($49/user/mo annual, $59 monthly): Slack notifications, session replays, organisational templates, custom NDA, and the Clay and Zapier integrations that are the only automation surface on offer. Workspaces do not exist at all on Start. A custom domain is $10/month on top of every tier including Enterprise. User roles and webhooks are both marked "Coming Soon" in the feature table, so anyone who needs permissioned team administration or programmatic events today should treat those as unavailable rather than imminent. And there is no documented API - teams wanting to generate pages from their CRM programmatically have no published path.

Journey.io FAQ

What does the cheapest plan actually let me do?

Start allows up to two Journeys, password protection, basic content and visitor insights, custom meta title and description, email notifications and comments - with "Made in Journey" branding on the page and no workspaces. Unlimited Journeys begin at Grow.

From official docs
Do recipients need an account to open a Journey?

The product is built around sending a single public URL, and the vendor's FAQ carries the question "Will my recipient need to log in to view it?". The answer text was not present in the page we retrieved, and access controls range from password protection on Start to advanced gated controls on Grow, so gating is optional and configurable. Confirm the default with the vendor.

From official docs
What can I see about who viewed my page?

Content and visitor insights on every tier - who engaged, what they cared about and how long they spent - upgraded to advanced insights from Grow, with email tracking at Grow and session replays plus Journey Analytics at Scale.

Vendor's own claim
Can I put it on my own domain?

Yes, but it is an add-on: the feature table lists Custom Domain at $10/month on Start, Grow, Scale and Enterprise alike.

From official docs
Does it connect to my CRM or automation stack?

Clay and Zapier integrations are listed at the Scale tier and above, with Slack notifications at the same level. Start and Grow are marked "No" for other integrations in the feature table.

From official docs
Is there an API or webhooks?

Webhooks are listed in the feature table as "Coming Soon", with no tier attached and no date. We could not retrieve any API documentation, reference or specification - the docs, api, api-docs and api-reference paths all returned 404s. That describes what we did not find, not a claim that nothing exists.

From official docs
Can multiple people on my team manage this together?

Workspaces are unavailable on Start and unlimited from Grow, and organisational templates arrive at Scale. User roles are listed as "Coming Soon", so per-person permissioning is not yet a published feature.

From official docs
Do I have to recreate my existing decks and documents?

The vendor's FAQ also carries "Do I need to create new content to use Journey?", though the answer text was not in the page we retrieved.

Vendor's own claim
Why do the price cards and the comparison table disagree?

The Start card reads $7 per month billed annually and $9 monthly, while the table below lists $9 per month per user and $89 per year per user - $89 a year is roughly $7.42 a month, not $7. The same pattern holds for Grow ($24 vs $289/yr) and Scale ($49 vs $589/yr). We record both as published rather than picking one. Confirm the annual rate before committing.

Verify before you buy

  • Answers to the vendor's own pricing FAQ - the questions render but the answer text was not present in the page we retrieved
  • Reconciliation of the two conflicting price sets on the pricing page (cards vs feature-comparison table)
  • What the Enterprise tier costs, and what it adds beyond Scale
  • Timing or scope for the features marked "Coming Soon": user roles, webhooks, personalised video recording in Journeys
  • The changelog and status pages linked from the site footer - neither was among the pages retrieved
  • Official social, GitHub or YouTube URLs - none were confirmed, so none are recorded
