What is DocSales

Vendor's own claim

DocSales is a closing-operations platform that sits between an opportunity in a CRM and the downstream proposal, contract, signature, payment, task, and billing steps. Its Zero Click product is positioned as a CRM-triggered workflow rather than a separate document app salespeople must open.

Ideal customer profile

From official docs

Sales teams using a supported CRM that want to standardise proposals, contracts, signatures, and sales-to-finance handoffs around opportunity-stage changes.

Who should look elsewhere

Our read

It is also a weak fit for a buyer who needs transparent budget approval before a sales call - the checked pricing page lists products and trials but no public price figures.

DocSales FAQ

What does DocSales automate?

The vendor says it automates proposal and contract preparation, e-signing, CRM task creation, email follow-ups, and registering a new client in a billing system. Its broader positioning is a CRM-to-ERP sales workflow.

Vendor's own claim
Which CRM systems are publicly listed?

The DocGen pricing section names Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot, Close, SharpSpring, and FreshSales. The help centre also includes an RD Station CRM integration article.

From official docs
What is Zero Click DocGen?

DocSales describes Zero Click as generating proposals and contracts through a CRM without leaving the CRM. Its workflow can create/send a document when an opportunity reaches a stage, then move the opportunity when the document is opened or signed.

From official docs
Does DocSales include electronic signature?

Yes. The public materials describe unlimited DocSales eSign on the relevant products and an eSign & Pay option powered by Stripe. Zero Click can alternatively use a DocuSign account.

From official docs
Can teams use existing document templates?

The Zero Click page says sales documents such as proposals, contracts, agreements, SOWs, and sales orders can be configured in Google Docs or Google Presentations, then filled from CRM data.

From official docs
Is a trial available?

The pricing page lists a seven-day no-card trial for eSign and a 30-day no-card trial for DocGen. Zero Click is presented as a talk-to-sales product.

From official docs
What does it cost?

We retrieved the pricing page, but its text did not show dollar figures for eSign or DocGen. It does state annual billing gets a 16.6% discount and labels Zero Click as talk-to-sales, so current pricing needs to be confirmed directly with DocSales.
