Builder infrastructure

Mailforge

Cold email infrastructure sorted in minutes.

It is not a sequencer - it is the sending layer underneath one, and the vendor states it works with any sending software. It is the shared-infrastructure product in a family that also includes Salesforge, Infraforge, Primeforge, Warmforge and Leadsforge.

Vendor's own claim

What Mailforge is

Vendor's own claim

The pricing page is built around a calculator - you enter emails per sequence, mailboxes per domain and contacts per month, and it returns the number of .com domains and mailbox slots required. Mailboxes are shared infrastructure; the vendor's sibling products cover the private-IP case (Infraforge) and mainstream Google/Microsoft mailboxes (Primeforge).

What it can do

Vendor's own claim
  • Bulk creation of hundreds of domains and mailboxes
  • Inbox hosting and ongoing mailbox maintenance included in the subscription
  • Mailbox slots - capacity you buy, so mailboxes can be deleted and recreated without extra cost
  • Optional SSL and domain masking for branded redirection
  • Domain/mailbox sizing calculator based on emails per sequence and contacts per month
  • Vendor states it is compatible with Salesforge and any other sending software

Who it is for

Vendor's own claim

Teams and agencies running high-volume cold outreach across many domains who do not want to hand-configure DKIM/SPF/DMARC per domain in a registrar and Google Workspace. The vendor's own case-study framing is agencies and startups scaling multi-domain sending.

When to choose something else

Our read

There is no free trial - the vendor states it plainly on the pricing page, because you must buy domains and mailboxes to use the product at all - and mailboxes are sold in a minimum of 10 slots, with slots billed whether or not a mailbox occupies them. That makes it a poor fit for anyone wanting to try one mailbox before committing. The Forge products are also billed separately: the vendor confirms you cannot use all of them under one subscription, so a buyer who wants infrastructure plus sequencing plus warm-up is signing three contracts. And if you need Google or Microsoft mailboxes specifically, Mailforge is the wrong product in the family - the vendor points you at Primeforge.

Implementation considerations

Our read

Setup assessment: 30m

Our read: provisioning itself is automated and the vendor advertises "ready in 5 mins", but a buyer realistically spends the first session running the calculator, choosing and purchasing domains, and deciding slot counts before anything is created. Warm-up time before those mailboxes can safely carry volume is a separate product (Warmforge) and separate calendar time.

Prerequisites

  • A Mailforge subscription - there is no free trial; domains and mailboxes must be purchased
  • A decision on domain and mailbox counts (the pricing calculator drives this)
  • A separate sending tool - Mailforge provides infrastructure, not sequences
