What it does when it runs

Rank buying signals from public company and people clues for outbound. Use when starting a Clay or sequencer build and you need a short, ordered signal list before enrichment.

Automated analysis of the skill and the 0 files bundled beside it. A skill’s own description is written to be selected by an agent, so it describes the job and not the dependencies.

Keys and connectors you must supply

Hosts it reaches
No third-party host appears in the skill or its bundled files.
Tool permissions it declares
No allowed-tools in the frontmatter. It only issues instructions, so there is nothing to bound.
Actions present in the files

Research Signal

Turn messy research into a ranked signal list the rest of the pack can reuse.

When to use

  • New outbound table or campaign brief
  • You have a domain list but no clear "why now"
  • Agent chat is drifting into generic firmographics

Inputs you must collect

  1. Product one-liner (what you sell in one sentence)
  2. Buyer titles and anti-titles
  3. Geography and company size band
  4. Any hard disqualifiers (agency, competitor, already customer)

Process

  1. List candidate signal types (hiring, funding, tech stack, product launch, regulatory change, content themes, job change). Keep only signals you can observe without private data.
  2. For each signal, define:
    • Source pattern (where you would look)
    • Freshness window (e.g. 30 / 90 days)
    • Strength: strong / medium / weak
    • Clay-friendly capture idea (column or scrape shape, not a full build yet)
  3. Rank top 5 signals for THIS offer. Drop vanity signals that do not change reply odds.
  4. Write a one-paragraph "signal story" that ties the #1 signal to the offer without inventing proof.

Output format

## Signal board
| Rank | Signal | Freshness | Strength | Capture idea |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | ... | 30d | strong | ... |

## Signal story
...

## Do not chase
- ...

Guardrails

  • No fabricated metrics or logos.
  • Prefer observable events over personality guesses.
  • If evidence is thin, mark strength as weak and say so.
